Vincent Cho, M.Ed., conducts research in educational data use at The University of Texas
at Austin, where he is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Educational
Policy and Planning. Working closely with Dr. Jeffrey C. Wayman,
he has co-authored numbers book chapters, conference papers, and technical reports relating to the use of educational data to improve school processes. Vincent's dissertation focuses on the relationships among technology, district policies, and educators' uses of data to improve teaching and learning.
In addition to his experience as a middle school teacher, Vincent is a former assistant principal, member of Teach for America, and National Writing Project Fellow at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. What's more, Vincent has also served as Policy Analyst for Texas Senator Judith Zaffirini during the 80th (Regular), 81st (Regular), and 81st (Special) Sessions. His work at the Texas Legislature focused primarily on higher education issues. Vincent earned his masters' degree at the University of Houston with a specialization in urban principalship and has attended Harvard University's Institute for Urban School Leaders. |
